Emma Stone offered Pride And Prejudice And Zombies

_*Zombieland*_*and _Easy A_ actress Emma Stone has been offered the
lead role in troubled book adaptation* _*Pride And Prejudice And
Zombies.*_

The film has long been struggling in pre-production, with numerous
directors considering, then dumping the project.

Stone has now been officially offered the role of zombie-butchering
heroine Elizabeth Bennet in the adap of Seth Grahame-Smith’s
book, which puts a spin on Jane Austen’s classic text.

Previously, Anne Hathaway, Scarlett Johansson and Mia Wasikowska were
all being considered as replacements for Natalie Portman, who left the
role last year.

_Pride..._ is now being brought to the screen by _Fright Night_ remake
duo Craig Gillespie and Marti Noxon, the former directing and the
latter giving the script a buff.

If _Zombieland_'s anything to go by, Stone's already proficient at
killing the undead - we wonder how she'd handle it in a corset.
