Robert Zemeckis' 'Flight' Sets October Filming Start
Vital has introduced an October start for filming of Flight, the Robert Zemeckis-directed drama project which will star Denzel Washington. Vital remains looking for a lady lead for Flight. Compiled by John Gatins, Flight may be the story of "Whip" (Washington), an air travel pilot with drug abuse issues who saves 98 lives whenever a broken engine intends an plane flight. Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald will produce under their Parkes/MacDonald production banner Zemeckis, Steve Starkey, and Jack Rapke will even produce under their ImageMovers banner. The project is going to be Zemeckis' first live action film since Cast Away (2000).
